Scientific Knowledge

It certainly does have the upper-hand; because it is based upon EXPERIENCE and refinement in light of EXPERIENCE.

The short-coming of science, however, is that it is based on conceptual models. And it can all to easily miss the forest for the trees -- that is, it can confuse it's concepts with reality itself.

Science is an approach. And it operates within a particular framework and sees the world through a particular looking-glass, characteristically unstated.

It is the study of the universe via a particular view. It casts its net and gets what it gets.
